Ey upp .. .you lot!

Welcome to my wee blog!

I know, I know...no one really reads blogs anymore. We live in the age of swiping, scrolling, and short attention spans. But here I am — slightly laid-back, stubbornly old-fashioned, and possibly a bit dramatic — choosing to write actual paragraphs instead of filming 15-second TikToks.

And since I have a degree in English, I might as well make use of it before it goes completely to waste. Besides, I have a passion for making everything dramatic — so this seems like a perfect outlet, doesn’t it?

Why? Because I miss words. I miss stories. I miss that old-school feeling of stumbling upon someone’s thoughts and thinking, “Oh thank god, it’s not just me.” So this is where I’m putting mine — thoughts, stories, disasters, and the occasional bit of wisdom I probably didn’t mean to have.

If you’re from my generation — the one that still remembers blogging, MSN, and using proper punctuation — you might just enjoy being here too. So grab your tea (or wine), and settle in.
